You have been introduced to the way in which Prefit works and can now go on to learn in detail how to use Prefit by following the example outlined in this chapter.
The example uses a simple yacht hull form whose markers are supplied in a Prefit markers file, with extension ‘.pfd’, called ‘Prefit Sample_YachtOffsets’. This file may be found in the ‘Sample Designs’ folder.
The example goes through the steps needed to generate a surface from these markers.
