Toolbars

Some of the features of Seakeeper can be accessed using the icons on the toolbars. You can hold your mouse over an icon to reveal a pop-up tip of what the icon does.

File Toolbar

The File toolbar contains icons that execute the following commands:

New – Open Maxsurf file– Save Seakeeper Input data| Cut - Copy - Paste | Print

View Toolbar

The View toolbar contains icons that execute the following commands:

Zoom – Shrink – Pan – Home View – Rotate – Assembly window (disabled).

 

The Rotate command is only available in the Perspective window. The Assembly window is not available in Seakeeper.

Analysis Toolbar

The Analysis toolbar contains an icon that starts the analysis: Solve Seakeeping Analysis

Contour Toolbar

The Contours toolbar contains icons that facilitate the display of surface contours:

Sections – Waterlines – Mapped Sections | Wave Grid

Window Toolbar

The Window toolbar contains icons that make the corresponding window come to the front:

Perspective – Plan – Profile – Body Plan – Input Data – Results Data – Results Graph – Polar Plot

Results Toolbar

The Results Window toolbar contains icons that allow you to quickly choose which analysis run is displayed. Menus that are irrelevant to the currently active table are greyed out and unavailable for selection:

Speed – Heading – Spectrum – Remote Location – Section – Encounter Frequency

 

Graph window Toolbar

The Window toolbar contains icons that facilitate swapping between the different graph types. Use the Results toolbar to select the data for the desired analysis run and dataset, for example: using the results toolbar you can display the remote spectrum graph for the Bridge Centre for a JONSWAP 10s 4m headseas condition at 15 kts.
