A deck is added by selecting a waterline at the location of the deck and then using the Add Deck command from the Deck menu.

Properties for each deck can be specified in the Deck Info dialog.

Deck properties are similar to those for frames with the user being able to specify name, material, and optionally trim the deck to specified forward, aft, port and starboard limits.
